Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV<\/a>) l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t lo\u1ea1i vi r\u00fat g\u00e2y ra c\u00e1c b\u1ec7nh h\u00f4 h\u1ea5p, ch\u1ee7 y\u1ebfu \u1edf tr\u1ebb em d\u01b0\u1edbi 2 tu\u1ed5i. RSV b\u1eaft \u0111\u1ea7u xu\u1ea5t hi\u1ec7n v\u00e0o m\u00f9a thu v\u00e0 k\u00e9o d\u00e0i \u0111\u1ebfn m\u00f9a xu\u00e2n. RSV c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 g\u00e2y ra c\u00e1c bi\u1ebfn ch\u1ee9ng nghi\u00eam tr\u1ecdng, \u0111\u1eb7c bi\u1ec7t l\u00e0 \u0111\u1ed1i v\u1edbi tr\u1ebb s\u01a1 sinh v\u00e0 tr\u1ebb em c\u00f3 h\u1ec7 mi\u1ec5n d\u1ecbch y\u1ebfu. Trong m\u1ed9t s\u1ed1 tr\u01b0\u1eddng h\u1ee3p nghi\u00eam tr\u1ecdng, RSV c\u00f3 th\u1ec3 g\u00e2y ra t\u1eed vong. Palivizumab l\u00e0 m\u1ed9t lo\u1ea1i kh\u00e1ng th\u1ec3 \u0111\u01a1n d\u00f2ng \u0111\u01b0\u1ee3c s\u1eed d\u1ee5ng \u0111\u1ec3 d\u1ef1 ph\u00f2ng b\u1ec7nh vi\u00eam \u0111\u01b0\u1eddng h\u00f4 h\u1ea5p c\u1ea5p t\u00ednh do virus RSV \u1edf tr\u1ebb em. Palivizumab ho\u1ea1t \u0111\u1ed9ng b\u1eb1ng c\u00e1ch ng\u0103n ch\u1eb7n virus RSV ph\u00e1t tri\u1ec3n v\u00e0 l\u00e2y lan trong c\u01a1 th\u1ec3 tr\u1ebb em.
